ThruDark requires a detail-oriented and skilled In-House eCommerce Photographer to manage the creation and delivery of superior product visuals for our online storefront, collaborating with creative and ecommerce teams to uphold the brand’s performance-driven aesthetic and technical integrity across various product displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating ecommerce shoots for seasonal releases, product introductions, and category refreshes, including model selection and shot list preparation.
• Prepare products for shoots by handling steaming, styling, and organization, while managing studio schedules and equipment setup for smooth operations.
• Execute in-studio product photography sessions, directing models and stylists to align with brand guidelines, and configure lighting for accurate representation of garment fit, texture, and construction.
• Generate comprehensive image sets per product, encompassing full-body shots, angle variations, detail close-ups, ghost mannequin images, and flat lays, ensuring consistent styling and framing across categories.
• Uphold adherence to ecommerce photography standards for framing, posing, backgrounds, and lighting, while reviewing and optimizing studio processes for enhanced efficiency and quality.
• Select, organize, and edit images post-shoot using Adobe tools, performing retouching and color correction to maintain brand consistency, then export assets in required formats for ecommerce, guides, and marketing use, including quality checks and file archiving.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in studio or ecommerce photography, preferably with apparel, technical clothing, or performance products.
• Advanced knowledge of studio lighting methods and techniques for capturing fabric details, garment structure, and silhouettes.
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other Creative Suite applications.
• Capability to handle large-scale ecommerce photography workflows with strong organizational and file management practices.
• Proficiency in guiding models during shoots to ensure uniform poses and visual quality.
• Collaborative skills for working with creative, content, and ecommerce departments, coupled with effective time management for juggling priorities.
• Traits including precise attention to detail, commitment to premium visual standards, proactive problem-solving, composure in dynamic settings, and adherence to structured systems with creative input; interest in performance apparel and outdoor pursuits preferred.
