AlgaeCal seeks a motivated Ecommerce Intern to enhance website optimization, boost conversion rates, and support revenue expansion through data-driven improvements in user experience and sales funnels for their health supplement eCommerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize website pages to reduce user friction and increase conversions
- Analyze data from heatmaps, scroll depth, and site speed to identify and resolve issues
- Develop high-performance sales funnels integrating ads, email, affiliates, and other channels
- Implement upsells, cross-sells, cart recovery features, and effective button placements
- Conduct A/B testing on elements like copy, design, layout, and timing to inform decisions
- Communicate insights from data analysis to stakeholders and translate them into actionable strategies
Qualifications
- Strong intuition for user behavior and what drives clicks and purchases
- Proficiency in spotting and fixing UX issues to lift conversion rates
- Experience with analytics tools and interpreting metrics like heatmaps and site performance reports
- Understanding of full customer journey across paid social, display, email, CTV, and affiliates
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization techniques and eCommerce best practices
- Hands-on knowledge of A/B testing and using data over opinions
- Clear communication skills for presenting complex findings to teams
- Experience with Shopify platform preferred; background in supplements or health products advantageous
- Extensive eCommerce and digital marketing experience required
