Oversee day-to-day website merchandising, onsite search optimization, and operational execution for a DTC ecommerce site, ensuring conversion-focused customer journeys across homepage, collections, navigation, promotions, and product discovery while managing FastSimon and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Product, Operations, and Customer Care teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own homepage, collection, navigation, product placement, and promotional merchandising execution including campaign launches and seasonal refreshes
- Manage and optimize FastSimon search, filtering, faceting, personalization, recommendation logic, synonyms, redirects, and boosting
- Oversee product categorization, taxonomy, tagging, upsells/cross-sells, and catalog maintenance within the ecommerce platform
- Coordinate promotional implementation, pricing updates, inventory visibility, and landing page merchandising
- Monitor key website KPIs such as conversion rate, search conversion, bounce rate, and AOV while supporting onsite A/B testing
- Partner with developers on QA, bug fixes, and UX improvements, and collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Product, Operations, and Customer Care teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, Merchandising, or related field
- 4+ years of ecommerce merchandising or website operations experience
- Experience with Azure, Shopify, or similar ecommerce platforms
- Hands-on experience with FastSimon, Searchspring, Bloomreach, or similar search and merchandising platforms
- Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, onsite UX, conversion optimization, and mobile customer journeys
- Proven ability to execute website updates, promotional launches, and merchandising workflows in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and ecommerce reporting tools; product catalog and taxonomy management skills
