We seek an experienced Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing to independently lead retention efforts and maximize customer lifetime value in a subscription credit repair business, consolidating fragmented processes into a unified function focused on post-enrollment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute retention and lifecycle strategies across email, SMS, and customer education channels
- Manage Day 0 onboarding, early churn prevention at Days 7 and 14, and mid-lifecycle interventions in Months 3-4
- Build and optimize automated flows using Customer.io, including copywriting and triggered journeys based on real-time data
- Maintain deliverability through sender reputation management, IP warming, vendor relations, and compliance
- Launch winback campaigns for over 600K lapsed customers and rebuild third-party monetization programs
- Oversee lifecycle for new CARE product and continuous LTV optimization
- Define KPIs like retention, LTV, and recovery rates; build reporting with BI tools and analyze cohort performance
- Influence product decisions, customer service strategies, and analytics dashboard development based on churn insights
Qualifications
- 7+ years in lifecycle, retention, or CRM marketing within B2C subscription models
- Proven management of high-volume email/SMS programs exceeding 5M-10M sends monthly
- Hands-on proficiency with ESPs such as Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo
- Experience operating lifecycle functions solo, with strong self-directed analytical skills
- Track record of reducing early churn within the first 90-120 days
- Preferred: Background in fintech, financial services, or similar; event-triggered messaging; winback with large datasets; strong writing or AI-assisted content creation
- Systems-oriented mindset focused on journeys, retention metrics, LTV, and revenue; comfortable without support teams and quick iteration from insights
- Familiarity with tools: Customer.io, Volt, ThoughtSpot, Snowflake, VWO, WordPress, N8N, and proprietary credit data platforms
