Technical CRM specialist focused on managing Klaviyo infrastructure and automation flows for premium DTC brands in an output-driven freelance setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Klaviyo automation flows including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback and post-diagnostic sequences with advanced conditions, splits and triggers
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across Shopify, webhooks and data flows
- Perform systematic technical quality assurance on all outbound campaigns before launch
- Build and manage simple to complex customer segments using AND/OR logic, time windows and exclusions
- Maintain data consistency across integrations with Shopify, Recharge, Okendo, Hive and similar platforms
- Analyze CRM performance, document processes, monitor systems and conduct technical audits
Qualifications
- Strong technical logic with ability to reason through nested conditions
- Hands-on experience with at least one major automation platform such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Iterable or Customer.io
- Minimum two years experience in automation, CRM or growth marketing on mature tooling
- Proven ability to build complete automated flows from trigger through conditions to actions
- Understanding of API concepts including GET, POST and webhooks
- High attention to detail with rigorous testing and proactive process improvement mindset
- Self-starter who investigates issues independently rather than waiting for direction
- Daily user of Claude AI for debugging, brainstorming, documentation and prompt generation
- Clear written communication skills for async collaboration via Slack
- Fluent French required
