Dynamic role for a Lifecycle and Conversion Marketing Manager at a SaaS firm, focusing on building and optimizing conversion, upsell, and retention systems to drive user engagement and revenue in a remote, US-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement ongoing A/B testing for landing pages, paywall, pricing, signup, and checkout processes, collaborating with design and engineering teams.
- Analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel data to pinpoint issues and prioritize tests, managing pre-conversion metrics like visitor-to-signup and signup-to-paid rates.
- Develop and refine five behavioral email sequences for upsell from free to paid users based on signals such as ghost signups and usage patterns, including copywriting and A/B testing.
- Create a user satisfaction score integrating usage, engagement, surveys, and login data; segment users into categories like Champion and At-Risk for targeted email retention campaigns.
- Roll out comprehensive survey systems including NPS and feedback mechanisms, adjusting segments quarterly while owning churn and retention performance.
- Select and configure an ESP like Klaviyo, handle domain authentication and deliverability, and establish event tracking with engineering.
- Contribute to acquisition email strategies without owning the broadcast or paid lists, building performance dashboards for KPIs.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years in lifecycle, retention, or marketing automation, preferably in SaaS, consumer tech, or subscription models.
- Practical expertise in modern behavioral ESPs such as Klaviyo or Customer.io, including complex trigger configurations.
- Proven track record in CRO initiatives with hypothesis-driven A/B testing, statistical analysis, and collaboration using tools like VWO or Optimizely.
- Deep knowledge of event-based triggers and event specification for engineering teams.
- Skills in crafting on-brand copy alongside configuring behavioral logic.
- Proficiency in data analysis for segment definition, performance reporting, and decision-making.
- Experience embedding NPS or satisfaction surveys into marketing processes.
