Apothékary seeks a data-centric Retention Manager to develop and execute effective customer retention strategies, focusing on engagement, loyalty, and key metrics like churn and LTV, while reporting to the Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly email campaigns in collaboration with the email agency to align with brand and sales priorities.
  • Oversee Asana projects for on-time delivery of email and SMS assets, builds in Klaviyo and Attentive, and scheduling.
  • Optimize email flows and pop-ups to boost DTC conversions and LTV.
  • Partner with creative teams to conceptualize, brief, and create content for email and SMS campaigns and flows.
  • Analyze and report on email and SMS performance metrics to meet monthly goals.
  • Design monthly initiatives to expand the loyalty program, increasing membership, revenue, and engagement.
  • Utilize loyalty data to enhance brand positioning, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Refine subscription programs to increase subscribers, repeat business, and LTV.
  • Collaborate across functions to support retention efforts on channels like Amazon, TikTok Shop, and retail.
  • Conduct consumer surveys on brand, product experience, and results.
  • Track and report retention metrics, list growth, and cohort analysis.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly KPIs for performance.
  • Incorporate customer service feedback into retention strategies.

Qualifications

  • Analytical expertise in CRM, retention marketing, lifecycle management, and customer metrics including cohorts, LTV, and segmentation.
  • Proficiency in email and SMS platforms like Klaviyo and Attentive, with skills in personalization and consumer behavior insights.
  • Experience with subscription tools such as Recharge.
  • Proven track record in driving eCommerce revenue through data interpretation and action.
  • Strong collaboration skills for building cross-functional partnerships.
  • High organizational abilities to handle multiple projects, adapt to changes, and maintain a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, presentations, and team interactions.
  • Capacity to uphold confidentiality, work collaboratively, and excel in dynamic settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4-5 years in CRM, digital, or direct marketing.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools like Klaviyo and Attentive.
