Office-based CRM Specialist at a fast-growing DTC pet food startup, responsible for planning and executing lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, SMS, WhatsApp and direct mail to increase subscriber retention and lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver weekly campaigns aligned to trading and marketing goals across email, SMS, WhatsApp and direct mail
  • Build and continuously optimise automated flows for quiz/checkout abandonment, trial onboarding, nurture and cancellation journeys
  • Develop and evolve subscription CRM strategy with opportunities for increased strategic ownership
  • Create and send campaigns directly in Klaviyo, handling design and build without handoffs
  • Run structured A/B and hold-out tests on subject lines, creative, messaging, offers and send times
  • Apply segmentation and personalisation using customer data for relevance
  • Track and report performance on revenue, retention, engagement and deliverability metrics
  • Ensure all communications comply with GDPR and deliverability best practices

Qualifications

  • Solid hands-on Klaviyo experience with ability to build and troubleshoot flows independently
  • Experience in subscription eCommerce, ideally DTC
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify and Recharge
  • Strong grasp of lifecycle marketing, segmentation and automation logic
  • Comfortable with performance metrics including open rate, CTR, CVR, revenue per recipient, churn, LTV and cohort retention
  • Experience running WhatsApp campaigns alongside email
  • Ability to write, design and build converting emails
  • Basic HTML/CSS for email editing (nice to have)
  • Experience with SMS platforms (nice to have)
  • Direct mail campaign experience (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices (nice to have)
  • Experience running structured experimentation programmes (nice to have)
