Skylight, a bootstrapped tech startup specializing in family-oriented consumer products, seeks a part-time CRM Associate to develop and execute lifecycle marketing initiatives across email, SMS, referrals, and in-app channels, fostering customer engagement and retention through strategic communication and cross-team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a monthly CRM calendar aligned with seasonality, promotions, and product launches
- Build, deploy, and optimize email and SMS campaigns using marketing platforms
- Support automated lifecycle flows such as welcome series, cart abandonment, browse abandonment, and refer-a-friend programs
- Segment audiences using behavior, purchase history, and engagement data for personalized targeting
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creative elements, timing, and messaging to enhance performance
- Monitor key performance indicators like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution
- Collaborate with creative, brand, and product teams to synchronize campaign messaging with website experiences and launches
- Maintain CRM database integrity and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports featuring actionable insights
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in CRM, email, or digital marketing
- Strong analytical abilities with expertise in Excel or Google Sheets
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing approaches
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time-management capabilities
- Adaptability to a dynamic, results-oriented work environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive platforms
- Preferred: Background in refer-a-friend program management
