Blue Nile, a digital brand of Signet Jewelers, is looking for a Customer Data Strategy Intern to aid in advancing the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and support the CRM team in optimizing customer data activation for enhanced personalization and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform 1st Party Data Assessment by examining current data collection, identifying gaps, and analyzing their impact on personalization, culminating in a presentation of findings.
  • Conduct Competitive Benchmarking Analysis by researching how peers utilize CDPs for acquisition and retention, proposing strategic improvements, and presenting recommendations.
  • Assist in integrating new marketing channels with the CDP.
  • Facilitate connections between showrooms and CDP data to improve insights, personalization, and conversions.
  • Contribute to the optimization of CDP-supported initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Passion for data-driven marketing, customer analytics, predictive analytics, and marketing technology.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Quick learner of new tools, platforms, and technical concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems, CDPs, or digital marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying data insights to stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with organizational skills and ease in team settings.
  • SQL experience preferred but not essential.
