Lead the establishment and management of lifecycle marketing at Trade Nation, a global CFD and spread betting broker, focusing on customer progression from signup through KYC, first deposit, first trade, and ongoing engagement to boost activation, retention, and value while ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lifecycle strategies and operating models, setting priorities across markets for key milestones like signup, KYC, FTD, FTT, and active trading.
  • Establish planning, quality assurance, and approval processes that integrate speed, compliance, and measurement, while scaling the function with team and tool foundations.
  • Oversee the full customer journey from initial contact to sustained trading, identifying issues and designing targeted interventions aligned with product features, onboarding, funding, platform usage, and education.
  • Ensure communications uphold transparency in costs, risks, and the company’s fair tone.
  • Create behavior-based segmentation using intent, funnel stage, region, and engagement, collaborating with Data and Engineering for event tracking and trigger systems.
  • Manage lifecycle operations in HubSpot, covering stages, suppression rules, and deliverability.
  • Execute onboarding, activation, retention, and reactivation programs to enhance conversions and activity.
  • Integrate with Sales by defining automated segments, handoff protocols, SLAs, and feedback mechanisms for consistent coordination.
  • Maintain compliance through repeatable approvals, adherence to financial promotions, audit documentation, and consent management.
  • Conduct experiments on funnel stages and report KPIs like conversion rates, time-to-events, retention, and cohort value to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing lifecycle or CRM programs for activation funnels with measurable results.
  • Hands-on proficiency in CRM tools, preferably HubSpot, for segmentation and workflow automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of funnel metrics, experimentation, data analysis, and dashboard utilization.
  • Collaboration experience with Product, Data, Engineering, and Sales teams.
  • Sound judgment in handling regulated communications and approvals.
  • Leadership in small teams, achieving results through delegation.
  • Preferred: Background in trading, investing, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Preferred: Multi-region or multi-entity operations experience.
  • Preferred: Integration of automation with Sales follow-ups.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with in-app/push messaging and product analytics tools.
