Video Editor at Decentralized Masters, Remote in Brazil

Edit and produce video content for a leading DeFi education company’s YouTube channel, handling all stages from raw footage to final export while supporting distribution and implementing modern editing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos to precise lengths and specifications for the YouTube channel.
• Organize and manage raw and finished video files.
• Export, optimize, and distribute content across mobile and web platforms.
• Shoot video and generate additional content when required.
• Experiment with alternative creative approaches and visual directions.
• Adjust formats and file sizes to meet platform or project needs.
• Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and visual effects.
• Produce rough cuts and polished final versions.
• Ensure logical flow, smooth pacing, and narrative coherence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout production and post-production.
• Research and adopt new editing tools and best practices to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of video editing and post-production experience.
• Strong motion graphics capabilities.
• Skilled selection and integration of appropriate B-roll footage.
• Solid understanding of branding principles.
• Ability to deliver high-quality edits quickly.
• Prior video editing experience specifically for YouTube channels.
• Proficiency with multiple non-linear video editing tools and related software.
• Deep knowledge of digital trends and core editing principles.
• Creative and innovative approach to visual storytelling.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film or related field (preferred).
• Professional command of the English language.
