Modern Family Law, a growing national family law firm, seeks a skilled Content Producer focused on podcasts and videos to oversee the complete production cycle, from ideation to distribution, in a remote role based in California, primarily supporting thought leadership and brand enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle production of podcast and video content, encompassing planning, recording, editing, publishing, and repurposing.
  • Develop scalable workflows to translate marketing strategies into engaging episode formats, outlines, and production plans.
  • Collaborate with executive team, marketing director, and staff to align content themes, guest selections, and messaging.
  • Coordinate pre-production tasks such as scheduling, guest preparation, and logistics for efficient sessions.
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment including cameras, lighting, audio, and streaming tools during recordings and live events.
  • Execute post-production tasks like editing, sound mixing, color grading, captioning, and asset finalization using tools such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Optimize and publish content on platforms like YouTube and podcast hosts, ensuring brand compliance and SEO-friendly elements.
  • Produce live streams, webinars, and virtual events with technical setup and real-time management.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short clips, reels, audiograms, and social assets via an efficient workflow.
  • Maintain content calendars, documentation, templates, and asset libraries in coordination with marketing teams.
  • Monitor performance metrics including views, engagement, and retention to refine strategies and formats.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in podcast, video, or multimedia production within corporate, agency, or studio settings, with a required portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in video production gear such as cameras, lighting, microphones, and livestream software.
  • Expertise in editing software including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and audio tools like Audition.
  • Knowledge of publishing on YouTube, podcast platforms, and digital media storytelling techniques for audience retention.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe products, and Zoom for collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, multitasking under minimal supervision, and adaptability to deadlines.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable setup, including occasional evenings, weekends, or physical tasks like lifting equipment.
  • Preferred: Experience in YouTube optimization, coaching on-camera talent, basic motion graphics, and tools like Descript or CapCut.
