As a Videographer at Hambi Media, you will collaborate with directors and producers to produce compelling visual content for performance-driven campaigns on platforms like Meta and TikTok, emphasizing technical accuracy and strategic creativity in both studio and on-location settings to maximize engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cinema-grade cameras such as Sony FX3 and lighting equipment to deliver exceptional quality in studio and field shoots
- Handle audio recording meticulously, including mic positioning, level monitoring, and immediate issue reporting to the director
- Adapt to diverse content types including UGC, video sales letters, podcasts, testimonials, branded videos, B-roll, and product footage
- Implement the director’s vision through precise technical execution while contributing personal insights on framing, composition, and lighting
- Incorporate knowledge of engaging hooks, pacing, scene diversity, and platform trends to enhance visual appeal
- Organize footage effectively with proper naming, metadata, and post-shoot handovers for seamless editing
- Assist in pre-production by advising on lighting, equipment needs, and site preparations
- Prepare comprehensive shot lists in advance to ensure efficient on-set execution from the outset
- Monitor evolving trends in Meta and TikTok visuals and introduce pertinent references during production
- Explore innovative methods to improve content standards and effectiveness
Qualifications
- At least three years in videography or camera operation, preferably in commercial or advertising fields
- Proficiency with Sony FX3/FX6 or comparable cinema cameras and advanced lighting systems
- Solid grasp of short-form video dynamics and elements that boost conversions on social media
- Knowledge of advertising techniques, hooks, and rhythms for Meta and TikTok
- Versatility in shooting within controlled studio and varied outdoor locations
- Effective communication and a cooperative, team-oriented approach
- Composure and dependability in high-pressure situations on set
- Portfolio or showreel showcasing commercial or brand-related projects (mandatory for applications)
- Desirable: Prior work with direct-to-consumer brands or paid social ads; understanding of performance indicators like hook rates, view duration, and click-through rates
