We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to spearhead video content and podcast strategy across YouTube, podcast platforms, and additional social channels, with a focus on driving brand awareness and positioning for the Soar Group leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end video content and podcasting strategy across YouTube and relevant podcast networks, including development, scripting, distribution, and channel coordination.
  • Generate content ideas and scripts driven by market insights, research and performance data.
  • Collaborate with video editors and graphic designers to create compelling entries and attention-grabbing thumbnails.
  • Conduct A/B testing on thumbnails and refine strategies to maximise engagement.
  • Schedule, post and manage content across YouTube and podcast platforms while partnering with other stakeholders for broader distribution.
  • Analyse performance metrics, derive insights, and implement data-driven improvements to content performance.
  • Stay current with eCommerce and marketing best practices through ongoing training and research.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in content marketing, podcasting and content distribution.
  • Proven track record managing content schedules, developing concepts and scripting videos.
  • Strong understanding of platform optimisation for LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt writing style across different video formats.
  • High attention to detail, creativity and ability to coordinate with cross-channel stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of additional distribution channels for video content strategy.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Genuine passion for marketing, eCommerce, podcasting and video content.
  • Ownership mentality, proactive problem-solving and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
