Craver, a Canadian tech startup, is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to develop and execute content strategies that promote innovative digital ordering and loyalty solutions to independent coffee shops and quick-service restaurants across the US, Canada, and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Craver’s content strategy and oversee its implementation, collaborating with the Director of Marketing on annual plans, quarterly projects, and daily tasks.
- Lead and mentor the Content Marketing Specialist to support their professional development.
- Manage relationships with external contractors including SEO agencies, writers, and videographers.
- Oversee all content channels such as the website, blog, email, SMS, video, and social media, while exploring new channels as appropriate.
- Collaborate with industry and media partners to produce co-created content like guest blogs and podcasts.
- Transform merchant data into engaging stories by partnering with the data scientist to derive and present insights.
- Produce thought-leadership materials, including proprietary reports and founder-driven content, to position Craver as an industry expert.
- Support the sales team with targeted content such as data-backed claims, success stories, and ROI tools to engage prospects.
- Monitor industry trends and customer feedback through media and interviews to inform content creation.
- Track key metrics beyond views, focusing on customer journey progression from awareness to conversion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years in a Content Marketing role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Strong command of English, including humor, tone, and subtleties, with storytelling skills to simplify complex concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis to identify trends and guide content decisions.
- Experience managing agencies, contractors, direct reports, or partners.
- Knowledge of SEO and GEO principles integrated naturally into content.
- Hands-on experience with video production, from short reels to testimonials.
- Understanding of email marketing for newsletters, lead nurturing, and announcements.
- Results-oriented approach emphasizing measurable impact.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools to optimize processes and scale experiments.
