Shockbyte is seeking a dedicated Video Content Producer to build and scale video as a key growth channel for their game server hosting platform, emphasizing in-game footage capture and editing to boost traffic, engagement, and conversions across major social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, script, film, edit, and publish long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
• Maintain a weekly schedule of around 5 videos, including 2-3 long-form YouTube videos and 2-3 short-form clips
• Convert intricate product features into compelling educational and entertaining content
• Repurpose long-form videos into short-form assets to enhance efficiency and ROI
• Develop and sustain a repeatable content production process and media library
• Partner with marketing, product, and community teams for launches, campaigns, and initiatives
• Evaluate metrics like viewer retention, watch time, engagement, traffic, and subscriber growth to refine thumbnails, hooks, formats, and calls-to-action
• Drive organic video traffic growth and enhance conversions via product education and narrative techniques

Qualifications

• Proficiency in editing software including Premiere Pro, CapCut, or After Effects
• Solid knowledge of video SEO, platform algorithms, and engagement strategies on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, or Meta Business Suite
• Excellent scripting and concise copywriting abilities
• Capability to conceptualize, organize, and complete both long-form and short-form videos from idea to release
• 2-3 years in video production, social content creation, digital storytelling, or equivalent, backed by a portfolio showing impact like increased views, retention, traffic, or subscribers
• Gaming background and cultural insight as an advantage
