Seasonal position for a dynamic photographer and videographer in the Kansas City region, focused on producing high-quality visual content for apartment marketing through local and occasional extended travel shoots.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture photographs and videos of apartment communities and floor plans adhering to company specifications to promote properties to potential renters.
• Travel to client sites within a 200-mile radius, typically Tuesdays through Thursdays, ensuring punctual and reliable attendance for shoots.
• Demonstrate flexibility for optional out-of-area trips involving air travel and overnight accommodations.
• Manage personal schedule to align with assigned shoots, including locations, targets, and contacts provided by the team.
• Handle media files meticulously, including detailed notes, to support post-production editing and content development.
• Engage professionally with on-site staff and residents to foster positive client experiences during interactions.
• Collaborate remotely with the media team, incorporating feedback and guidance to refine shooting techniques and output quality.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in photography and videography, such as for weddings, commercials, or events, with proficiency in mirrorless cameras (Canon preferred).
• Collaborative mindset to contribute effectively to a creative team delivering timely, high-quality results.
• Adaptability to evolving situations, strong decision-making on location, and enthusiasm for travel challenges.
• Consistency in producing large volumes of brand-compliant visual content under deadlines.
• Physical capability to transport up to 60 lbs of gear, sustain several hours of activity, work outdoors, and possess a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle.
• Exceptional customer service orientation, including punctuality, clear communication, and positive attitude in interactions.
• Tech-savviness with tools like Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, and G-Suite, or quick ability to learn them.
