The Podcast & Content Executive role involves overseeing the video content strategy for YouTube, podcasts, and social platforms, managing the full process from ideation to distribution to boost brand visibility and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead video content and D2C Diaries podcast strategies across YouTube, podcast networks, and related channels
  • Generate ideas, briefs, and scripts supported by market insights, research, and data
  • Collaborate with video editors on briefs, edits, trailers, and clips
  • Partner with graphic designers to create engaging thumbnails and conduct A/B testing
  • Handle scheduling, posting, and management of content on YouTube and podcast platforms, including coordination with other stakeholders for distribution
  • Analyze performance metrics, derive insights, and implement data-driven improvements
  • Refine strategies to optimize reach and align with business goals
  • Stay informed on eCommerce and marketing trends through ongoing training and research
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate using tools like Slack and Google Meets
  • Uphold the company’s core cultural values in daily activities

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing content calendars, developing video concepts, and scripting
  • Solid knowledge of succeeding on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
  • 1-2 years in content marketing, podcasting, and distribution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various video formats and audiences
  • Exceptional attention to detail, comprehension, and creative abilities
  • Skill in coordinating with stakeholders across channels for content distribution
  • Familiarity with additional channels to enhance video strategies
  • Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Enthusiasm for marketing, e-commerce, podcasting, and video production
