The Video and Photography Intern collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Communications for Content to produce and edit engaging video and photo materials for Momentus Capital’s various business units. This role emphasizes visual storytelling that captivates viewers and effectively delivers core messages, with remote work options and flexible part- or full-time hours overlapping Eastern Standard Time, spanning June to August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the technical production or revision of short-form videos utilizing supplied interviews, b-roll footage, or Zoom recordings, with all outputs compatible for Mac OS viewing.
- Catalog and organize existing raw b-roll footage, labeling drives for easy access by others and uploading to company cloud servers.
- Aid in editing staff-provided photos and headshots.
- Catalog, organize, and upload photographic assets to the company’s digital asset management platform.
- Manage and refresh branded YouTube channels by uploading videos and thumbnails, revising descriptions, and overseeing channel maintenance.
Qualifications
- Enrolled as a current undergraduate (preferably junior or senior) or graduate student in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Strong skills in video editing via Adobe Premiere, including handling clips, audio, text, graphics, and effects.
- Expertise in photo editing with Adobe Photoshop.
- Familiarity with animation tools is advantageous but not essential.
- Technologically adept with awareness of current and emerging tools, trends in photography, videography, and audio.
- Knowledgeable about platform-specific practices for sites like Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Fundamental understanding of graphic design is beneficial.
- Solid organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Optimistic mindset, adaptability, creative problem-solving approach, collaborative team orientation, enthusiasm, and effective verbal, written, research, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional on-set presence.
