Marchay seeks a creative, entrepreneurial content leader to define its editorial voice and establish the brand as a trusted authority in luxury travel storytelling across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead content vision across social, editorial, video, email and emerging platforms
- Generate original creative concepts, campaigns and storytelling opportunities independently
- Convert insider travel knowledge and member experiences into high-value, compelling content
- Build Marchay’s presence as a leading voice in luxury travel and lifestyle
- Design content strategies that increase audience growth, engagement, brand awareness and community trust
- Spot cultural, travel, hospitality and luxury trends ahead of the mainstream
- Produce or oversee short-form video, social storytelling, editorial features, interviews, destination guides and thought leadership
- Collaborate with founders, advisors, members and partners to surface unique stories
- Define and maintain a recognizable, differentiated brand voice
- Analyze metrics and refine strategy based on audience behavior
- Test new formats, channels and creative approaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- U.S.-based and available for Eastern Standard Time (9am-6pm)
- Strong editorial instincts and deep creative storytelling ability
- Equal parts strategist, creator and entrepreneur who generates ideas proactively
- Extensive experience in travel, culture, hospitality, luxury and digital media trends
- Proven track record building or growing brands, communities or audiences through content
- Comfortable operating as both visionary and hands-on executor
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, newsletters and emerging platforms
- Ability to create premium, differentiated and emotionally engaging content
- Focus on substantive, depth-driven content rather than surface aesthetics
- Highly collaborative yet self-directed working style
- Significant experience producing travel-focused content via writing, blogging, journalism or personal brand building, ideally in luxury travel, hospitality or lifestyle
- Portfolio showcasing strong storytelling and creative direction
- History of creating viral, culturally relevant or highly engaging content
- Background in luxury travel, hospitality, lifestyle, media, journalism or creator-led brands preferred
- Strong visual sensibility and copywriting skills
- Experience partnering with founders or premium/luxury brands is a plus
