Senior Manager leading brand strategy, content programs, and reputation management to build veteran trust and shape REE Medical’s voice, visual identity, and public perception across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Own brand positioning, voice and tone, visual identity, and standards governance across every channel and touchpoint.
- Lead agency partnerships for brand alignment, content management, and editorial planning aligned with campaigns and lead-generation priorities.
- Partner with marketing teams on cross-channel content including SEO, landing pages, lifecycle email, and collateral while ensuring brand consistency and performance discipline.
- Evolve and enforce brand standards documentation, visual guidelines, voice and tone rules, style guides, and asset libraries.
- Conduct market and competitive research, incorporating social listening insights to inform strategy.
- Manage internal and external creative resources for quality, performance, and prioritization.
- Lead reputation management including review programs, competitive defense, and proactive advocacy.
- Ensure all content is culturally appropriate, accurate to veteran experience, and respectful of military service and VA disability claims.
- Develop and present performance reporting for SVP of Marketing and contribute to board-level and quarterly strategic updates.
- Support crisis and sensitive communications, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Communications on messaging strategy.
- Stay current on regulatory developments and competitive activity; model ethical, rigorous, and creative practice while mentoring team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field; equivalent professional experience accepted.
- 7+ years of brand marketing, content marketing, or communications experience with direct ownership of brand, content programs, and creative output.
- Proven track record managing creative teams with measurable impact on brand health and demand generation metrics.
- Experience leading reputation management or brand defense strategies in trust-challenged, regulated, or scrutinized categories.
- Experience designing content programs across the full customer lifecycle with impact on engagement, demand generation, and brand health.
- Strong analytical skills using web analytics, social listening, brand tracking, and reputation monitoring tools.
- Strategic yet hands-on operator mindset; self-starter who takes full ownership with minimal supervision.
- Advanced writing and editing skills for technical, regulatory, and sensitive content; comfortable reviewing copy for accuracy, compliance, and brand voice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting brand strategy, roadmaps, and results to senior leadership.
- Experience in regulated, compliance-sensitive, or healthcare-adjacent categories preferred; empathy for and understanding of the veteran community is a plus.
