The Art Director & Brand Manager position involves leading social media strategies for Jams and Bronco brands at Dropout Companies, a Nashville-based CPG firm focused on launching and scaling innovative food products. This hybrid role combines creative direction, operational management, and hands-on execution to create compelling online content that drives brand engagement and retail success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage editorial calendars for both brands on a weekly basis with monthly planning
- Establish weekly creative routines including previews, reviews, and team meetings
- Link social content to retail performance metrics
- Perform hands-on design and art direction for key posts, campaigns, and product launches
- Handle rapid creation of content responding to trends, cultural events, and timely opportunities
- Elevate the visual standards across all brand outputs
- Draft creative briefs and distribute tasks to teams in design, 3D rendering, user-generated content, talent, community management, and public relations
- Set timelines for posts, campaigns, and launches, ensuring clear responsibilities, deadlines, and quality standards
- Facilitate smooth transitions between creative and execution teams
- Conduct feedback sessions on ongoing projects and ensure completion
- Perform final quality checks on all content prior to publication
- Generate weekly performance reports and provide insights for future directions
- Analyze successes, challenges, and trends from social feeds to inform subsequent strategies
- Maintain alignment among creative, execution, and leadership teams
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing high-impact social media feeds for brands where content is a key asset
- In-depth knowledge of Jams and Bronco products, target audience, and company mission
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining organization
- Self-motivated with strong urgency, innovation within constraints, and system-building expertise
- Skilled in writing concise briefs, enforcing timelines, and managing creative operations without conflict
- Refined aesthetic judgment to identify and articulate improvements in visual content
- Data-driven approach to performance analysis, distinguishing viral moments from sustainable strategies
- Balanced assertiveness in opinions while fostering collaborative relationships
- Deep understanding of current and evolving internet trends and their business implications

- 2.5 to 3 years in art direction, design, social media, or creative operations roles
