Lead on-the-ground marketing execution for a major energy beverage brand in the Toronto market, driving awareness, trial, and engagement through events, sampling, partnerships, and local activations while collaborating closely with sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute market marketing plans supporting the 360-marketing playbook and sales initiatives.
- Identify, negotiate, and activate local sponsorships, influencer partnerships, and community events.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage part-time Brand Ambassadors and event staff.
- Analyze event performance and ROI; maintain monthly reports on budgets, expenses, and product forecasts.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations including warehouse management, vehicle maintenance, and invoice processing.
- Partner with local sales teams and distributors to align strategies and maximize in-store visibility and sales.
- Represent the brand at events, ensuring high-quality execution and consumer engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of grassroots and brand marketing experience.
- At least 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Strong understanding of local community events and planning/project management skills.
- CPG or beverage industry experience preferred.
- Ability to lead teams, set clear expectations, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel within territory and lift 25 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing business needs.
