Develop and execute trade marketing strategies for designated regions, aligning with corporate goals and serving as a key connector between marketing, innovation, and sales teams in the global food industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute channel and customer campaigns using consumer and category insights, including trends, ethnographic, macroeconomic, and benchmark data.
  • Implement global methodologies and tools to communicate category, trade, and shopper strategies.
  • Define category business strategies, monitor market niches, identify opportunities for short- and medium-term actions, and propose product rationalization criteria and timelines.
  • Manage marketing initiatives, develop advertising plans and campaign launches, collaborate with regional, sales, logistics, and marketing teams, and evaluate product innovation impacts.
  • Forecast new products based on sales volume, customer acquisition, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Validate trading profitability, recommend pricing proposals, and manage promotional strategies, incentives, and discounts.
  • Co-design brand activation plans at point of sale, manage merchandising, inventory, and product availability, and negotiate POS materials.
  • Develop and control trade marketing budgets in collaboration with marketing leads.
  • Generate demand planning for campaigns, new products, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with BTL agencies, communicate brand value to sales teams, and review trade marketing plan implementation.
  • Track and measure metrics, communicate results, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage brand performance, KPIs, and action plans based on data.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned personnel.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of brand management experience.
  • Two years of consumer-packaged goods experience.
  • One year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and implement solutions through collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly across organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in building cross-functional relationships and fostering collaboration.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Project management skills preferred.
