The Brand Marketing Associate role involves aiding in the creation and execution of marketing initiatives for designated brands and product lines, encompassing product development, lifecycle oversight, asset creation, analytics, and promotional events, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in new product feasibility through cost analysis, data compilation for item setup, and product information management for launch, working with Innovation, R&D, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers to evaluate and report on brand uniformity across products, promotions, events, and communications like sell sheets, renders, and hero images.
  • Facilitate coordination of social media and digital platforms to connect with target audiences, drive brand expansion, and serve as a bridge to external partners such as agencies, vendors, influencers, and talent.
  • Contribute to marketing materials, packaging, and sales tools by partnering with corporate marketing, vendors, sales, and trade teams, ensuring quality standards.
  • Conduct category research, monitor market trends and data to inform segmentation, targeting, and positioning for sustained brand growth, and present findings to internal and external audiences.
  • Liaise with stakeholders for qualitative and quantitative studies, including sampling, concept evaluations, and sensory panels.
  • Develop and execute expansion plans, proposing business growth ideas for yearly strategies.
  • Handle additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • At least two years of marketing experience, or one year of Sigma internship experience.
  • Preferably, two years in social media, web, digital, and SEO marketing.
  • Preferably, one year in CPG or culinary sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data analysis, graphing, pivot tables, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills across organizational levels, with clear verbal and written articulation of complex concepts.
  • Capacity to foster professional relationships and promote collaboration in cross-functional settings.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, expanding workplace.
  • Familiarity with consumer segmentation, targeting, brand positioning, and insights generation.
  • Awareness of consumer preferences, market dynamics, and competition for strategic brand decisions.
