Frida seeks a skilled Graphic Designer focused on packaging to enhance the marketing team, developing innovative design solutions that embody the brand’s essence, particularly across packaging, print, and digital mediums to support business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce materials in diverse formats such as print, displays, and presentations, prioritizing packaging
- Partner with the Art Director, VP of Creative, project managers, and fellow designers to create assets for internal use and production
- Prepare and distribute print-ready files for packaging, displays, and additional formats
- Develop a range of brand materials for the Frida website, emails, social media, editorial content, ads, and in-store materials
- Oversee projects from conceptualization through production, including quality checks and final release
- Craft designs aligned with strategic goals, capturing the brand’s voice while maintaining uniformity across platforms
- Handle time pressures effectively across multiple design initiatives
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Perform photo retouching as required
- Conduct monthly reviews with the Marketing Director to align on creative and marketing objectives
- Undertake additional assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field
- At least 3 years of graphic design experience, ideally in a marketing or creative agency setting
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator for print and digital applications
- Expertise in Photoshop for print, digital, and productivity features like Smart Objects, Layer Comps, and Effects
- Mastery of InDesign for print production
- Strong grasp of digital printing techniques
- Familiarity with photography, illustration, typography, and digital formats is advantageous
- Proven design capabilities in print, packaging, and display materials
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
