Own the visual identity and systems that shape how Sans communicates, ensuring consistent brand storytelling across digital and physical experiences while supporting rapid iteration and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead redesign and ongoing ownership of lifecycle email flows and weekly campaign emails, emphasizing typography, hierarchy, and modular templates.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive Figma design system, component library, typography, color systems, and iconography, documenting for cross-team use.
- Extend the brand identity across new surfaces, ensuring cohesion while evolving the visual language with the Creative Director.
- Design packaging, inserts, and instructional materials that match the clarity and craft of digital touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Lifecycle, eCommerce, Growth, and Brand teams to deliver cohesive, high-performing assets at scale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in design
- 4–7+ years in brand or visual design roles
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma for design systems and component libraries
- Strong portfolio showcasing email design, lifecycle flows, campaigns, and template systems
- Experience applying brand identities across digital and physical surfaces
- Print design experience (packaging, inserts, editorial) strongly preferred
- DTC, consumer, or startup experience preferred
- High visual sensibility with strong attention to craft, brand cohesion, and scalable systems
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, self-directed, and adaptable; eager to evolve both the work and personal skills
