Full-time on-site Graphic Designer / Multimedia Specialist supporting Corporate Communications at NSWC IHD. Responsible for creating high-quality visual and multimedia content that translates complex technical and mission-focused information for internal and external DoD audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality video and audio for test events, ceremonies, training, and public affairs.
- Collaborate with engineers and leadership on pre-production planning including storyboards and scripts.
- Handle post-production tasks such as editing, audio mastering, color grading, and motion graphics.
- Produce digital graphics, technical illustrations, and multimedia assets for presentations and web platforms.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cameras, lighting, audio gear, and editing systems.
- Organize and archive media assets per DoD records management policies.
- Ensure products meet OPSEC, INFOSEC, and CUI requirements in coordination with Public Affairs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field.
- 2-5 years of graphic design and multimedia production experience.
- Active Secret clearance or eligibility for Interim Secret.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher and Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
