Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute live demonstrations, pop-up events, and field activations nationwide and internationally to achieve measurable conversions
- Develop and manage an event calendar including trade shows, technology expos, consumer festivals, and retail engagements for optimal product impact
- Establish and oversee a demonstration program covering unit logistics, staff training, and standard operating procedures for effective product trials
- Collaborate with retail partners like IKEA on in-store activations, endcap displays, and joint marketing initiatives
- Document event content such as videos, testimonials, and social media assets to integrate into digital marketing channels
- Manage brand representation at industry conferences like CES, including booth setup, staffing, and post-event follow-up
- Monitor and analyze field marketing performance metrics including conversion rates, event-generated revenue, acquisition costs, and audience engagement
- Foster connections with target communities such as runners, commuters, and warehouse workers to build product advocacy
- Collect user insights from events and relay them to the engineering team for product enhancements
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in experiential, field, brand activation, or event marketing, preferably with consumer hardware, direct-to-consumer, or electronics brands
- Proven history of events yielding tangible business outcomes like revenue or sales pipeline growth, beyond mere awareness
- Practical expertise in operating events, including booth management, demo coordination, staff training, and on-site issue resolution
- Robust project management abilities to handle simultaneous events across multiple locations
- Proficiency in capturing and directing event content for photo, video, and social media that resonates digitally
- Analytical approach focused on metrics like cost per demonstration, conversion rates, and return on investment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging customers, partners, retailers, media, and industry professionals
- Commitment to 30–50% travel, increasing during high-event periods
- Desirable: Prior work with retail activations, including in-store demos, endcap programs, and co-marketing with major retailers
