Fixed-term Head of Brand Marketing role leading brand strategy, campaigns and community growth for a leading global MICE events portfolio, with responsibility for team leadership, market expansion (notably the Americas) and AI-enabled marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate commercial targets into measurable marketing plans and ROI-driven campaigns aligned to sales and attendance goals
- Lead integrated brand campaigns across digital, email, social, content and partner channels while supporting sponsorship and partnership marketing
- Champion brand consistency and creative excellence, collaborating with design and external partners to deliver differentiated storytelling
- Develop and execute content and community engagement strategies, including ambassador, influencer and advocacy programmes
- Drive PR activity, media partnerships and thought-leadership programmes to enhance visibility and AI-search performance
- Build strategic relationships with industry associations, destinations, CVBs and partners; represent the brand at external events
- Lead, mentor and develop a two-person marketing team, manage budgets, set KPIs and maintain performance dashboards
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends using AI tools and research platforms to inform continuous improvement and future growth plans
Qualifications
- Proven senior marketing leadership experience, ideally in B2B events, travel, hospitality or membership businesses
- Previous team leadership and development experience
- Strong brand marketing, content strategy and community-building track record
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and managing external stakeholders
- Commercial acumen linking marketing to measurable business outcomes
- Excellent project, budget and prioritisation skills combined with outstanding written, verbal and presentation abilities
- Highly collaborative leadership style with relationship-building strengths and ability to deliver at pace
- AI-first marketing mindset and eagerness to adopt new technologies
- Desirable: knowledge of global MICE/events/hospitality sectors, international expansion experience, ambassador/influencer programme development, PR or thought-leadership background
