Resource Innovations seeks a Marketing Principal to direct regional marketing strategy, strengthen client partnerships, and lead account management teams serving utility clients in the Eastern region. The position sets strategic direction, elevates work quality, and builds high-performing teams that deliver energy efficiency and transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional marketing strategy and serve as senior leader accountable for program success and marketing impact
- Act as trusted advisor to utility clients and internal stakeholders, guiding long-term strategic direction
- Drive development of marketing plans, integrated campaigns, and high-level strategic POVs
- Oversee multiple accounts ensuring work stays on strategy, on time, and on budget
- Directly manage and mentor account management staff, setting performance expectations and fostering team development
- Identify marketing-led growth opportunities and support pre-sales for new initiatives
- Elevate creative and strategic quality, driving continuous improvement across processes and deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media or related field
- Minimum 8 years of marketing, client services, or account leadership experience
- Agency experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead multiple complex accounts and teams simultaneously
- Strong strategic thinking with skill translating insights into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated success developing and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for client and leadership audiences
- Experience managing scopes, budgets, and portfolio-level performance
- Up to 10% travel required
