We are looking for a Search Analyst to monitor, analyse, and report on Google search performance across both paid (PPC) and organic (SEO) channels. This role is responsible for delivering a holistic view of search performance, including combined metrics such as total click-through and overall search visibility. You will also translate market and search insights into clear context on user intent and search behaviour to support marketing and product decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on Google search performance across PPC and SEO, including impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, and spend.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that provide a combined view of paid and organic search performance.
- Analyse combined search metrics (e.g. total CTR, blended click share, cannibalization or lift between PPC and SEO).
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in search performance based on keyword, category and device.
- Translate search and market data into insights about user intent, demand, and search behaviour.
- Partner with marketing and trading teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support campaign planning and optimisation by identifying keyword opportunities and performance gaps.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across search platforms and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Experience analyzing PPC and SEO performance, ideally within Google Search (e.g., Google Ads, Search Console).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Experience building dashboards and reports in analytics or BI tools.
- Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with performance metrics.
- Experience with blended or integrated search reporting (PPC + SEO).
- Familiarity with keyword research tools and competitive search analysis.
- Understanding of attribution and the interaction between paid and organic search.
- Experience translating macro market trends into actionable insights.
- Predictive modelling and forecasting experience.
