The Trade Marketing Analyst enhances trade marketing efforts through data-driven analysis, spotting growth potential, and delivering insights to boost sales and profits, while collaborating with sales, revenue, category, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for category, trade, and shopper marketing.
- Examine insights from categories and departments to optimize promotion impact, product distribution, and retail visibility.
- Assess market dynamics and suggest innovative business prospects.
- Monitor promotion outcomes, evaluate data, and offer practical suggestions.
- Create reports on sales, finances, and trade metrics.
- Work with diverse teams to advance category evaluations and trade programs.
- Manage trade marketing finances and aid in key decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years in trade marketing, brand management, or data analysis roles.
- MBA preferred.
- Background in brokerage or sales analysis preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Familiarity with profit and loss statements preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, Access, or comparable database software preferred.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector preferred.
