The Marketing Data Analyst position focuses on quantitatively assessing marketing campaigns, mining and analyzing large datasets to evaluate effectiveness, retention, and cross-sell opportunities, while recommending strategies to drive revenue growth and improve market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing efforts through data manipulation and mining from extensive datasets
- Develop structures for data and information management
- Create and update computer programs to extract data from company databases
- Conduct analyses on marketing driver efficiency, cross-sell, and retention metrics, proposing improvements to existing methods
- Identify market segments and create tailored reporting solutions
- Prepare visual exhibits and fulfill ad-hoc data requests
- Define detailed requirements for systems implementation initiatives
- Track and monitor marketing performance indicators
- Collaborate across organizational teams to achieve objectives
- Assist the data sciences team with data access, manipulation, and formatting as needed
